This organization started four years ago with a marketplace platform for local services, featuring around sixty different categories, such as construction and catering. The platform acts as a comparison site focused on quality, conducting extensive research on the ten best local companies and giving them a score. This allows visitors to easily choose the best service. The organization is currently the market leader in the Netherlands and aims to strengthen this position across Europe. After launching in the Netherlands, they are now expanding to Belgium and Germany.
The organization has an informal and friendly atmosphere where everyone works together toward the same goal. Approximately 50 people work there, divided into various teams such as development, support, and marketing. They are looking for someone with a growth-oriented mindset, driven to innovate and improve. In this role, you will have a lot of freedom, and they are seeking someone who can strengthen the team in the coming years.
Functie
As a full-stack developer, you will continuously work on improving the platform. You will follow a quarterly planning process in which you set goals and determine the course you want to take, such as doubling the number of customers. This role is very diverse, as you will be involved in different aspects of the platform, including A/B testing, API integrations, dashboards, search functionalities, and data analysis. You will collaborate closely with other developers, product managers, and UX designers to learn from each other and develop new ideas. They use React for the front-end and PHP for the back-end, with a focus on the front-end.Eisen
