This organisation has developed a data platform which is widely applicable within the energy market. It processes data (for example from smart energy meters) and translates it into smart dashboards with which suppliers and network operators can better map out their purchasing. The goal is to make the market smarter. For example, by applying Machine Learning to estimate expected use. It is an international platform with many great opportunities for growth in sectors such as wind turbines and solar panels. Their mission is to stimulate the global energy transition by providing insight into usage and uncovering opportunities.
The team currently consists of about 35 colleagues; there is a free and enterprising atmosphere in which there is plenty of room for personal initiative. It is an international group with many different backgrounds, which makes for a very nice dynamic in the teams. You will be working in a high-tech environment with the latest (Google Cloud) technologies, some of which are not even available on the market yet. Always on the lookout for interesting innovations, you’ll work with your team to effectively use these technologies to improve the platform and your own way of working.
The development departments now employ about 25 people divided into four scrum teams consisting of full-stack developers and several Python back-end developers. Since six months, this company works with a specialised QA Engineer where previously the responsibility for QA lay with the developers. To continue to grow and professionalise, the company is now looking for several QA Engineers where you will be given several tasks. You will design, develop and execute automation tests and write detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. You also identify and document bugs and are responsible for the final results of each release quality. You prioritise automation scenarios and work to maximise test coverage. You know how to solve problems quickly and communicate with related teams, including estimating, prioritising, planning and coordinating test activities.
• You have demonstrable experience with programming languages, preferably Java/Python, but other languages are also possible.
• You have knowledge of Behavioural Driven Development tools (preference)
• You have at least 1 year of Test Automation experience
• Fluent English in word and writing
• You are eager to learn
• A salary range between € 3.200 and € 6.200,- depending on knowledge and experience.
