This organisation was founded over 20 years ago. They’ve grown into one of the biggest players in software for the transport sector. With various smart features and AI tools, they help customers manage their transport more efficiently. Including a mobile application as an extension of the shop floor. The team currently consists of 30+ colleagues. It is a highly engaged team with short lines of communication. In which people help each other to make their customers but also themselves a little better every day. No question is too crazy and there is also plenty of room for personal topics. So too for growth and development.
Besides expansion in the Netherlands, they also have international ambitions, for which they recently hired their first marketer. To be ready for this growth, there is plenty to do. They are therefore looking for an experienced software engineer who wants to contribute to this and be involved in the long-term vision.
Functie
The IT department consists of a total of 16 colleagues divided into three smaller teams. The teams each have their own Techlead and above that, the CTO who is involved in all projects. It is also possible to switch between the different teams. Within the teams, they attach great importance to code quality and future-proofing. The different components are built in Microservices and are therefore set up very separately from each other.
They are currently looking for a Fullstack developer to join the team and work on the big picture, choices and, for example, architecture for further development towards the international market. For this, they are looking for outspoken types with an opinion and passion for solid software. Besides your colleagues from Development, they have a consultancy team that gathers info from the market, and a PO that compiles this and translates it into concrete ideas for the team. For this, they are looking for someone who is not tied to a particular stack and likes to engage in things like Domain Driven Design.
Eisen
• You have at least about 5 years of relevant knowledge and experience
• You have broad knowledge and experience in software development
• You preferably have experience with Architecture, Domain Driven Design and Pair Programming
• You have extensive knowledge of and experience with TypeScript, and preferably Node and React
