This organization operates in the e-commerce sector, with shops running in countries including; the Netherlands, France, Spain, Germany and Denmark, they are now an international player. They sell various goods, especially in the construction sector, and deliver directly from stock to both consumers and business customers. Their ambition is to establish one strong brand across Europe. So plenty to do! It is a company with an international working environment where everyone is involved in various developments. There are short lines of communication and it is a flat organization without (management) layers. A total of almost 250 colleagues are now employed across the various departments.
Functie
Within the IT department, they work on both e-commerce and business operations solutions. These are separate teams so that you can really gain domain knowledge in them. They are currently looking for an experienced Front-end developer who will bring experience to the team working on the internal applications and tooling they develop. These include WMS (ware house management), but also HR and other information systems. You interact with the Product owner and other stakeholders and think about the operation and quality of the software. You can take the lead, without worrying about management-related issues. You will join a nice team consisting of 2 back-end, 1 full-stack and 1 front-end colleague. In addition, the teams consult each other regularly.Eisen
• You have extensive experience as a front-end developer
• Experience in HTML, (S)CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with React, NextJS or similar frameworks
• Experience with NPM or Yarn
• Experience with REST-based APIs
• Experience with Agile and Scrum development processes
• Experience with TTD and code reviews
